The Marlborough Women’s Club (MWC) was founded in 1978 by residents of the town of Marlborough. The club is open to people that are at least 18 years old, who wish to better the community and themselves through volunteer activities. It is a part of a state-wide organization, the Connecticut Junior Women’s Club, founded in 1938.

- MJWC has donated over $33,000 to Marlborough & the surrounding towns in the past 5 years
- 36 Members strong today...hundreds of hard working and caring women since its inception
- MJWC has created an annual scholarship fund benefitting local high school seniors...over $30K has been donated since 1980
- MJWC coordinates events to raise public awareness of such things as child saftey, cancer and M.S.
- MJWC has donated funding to purchase much needed supplies for the library, elementary, middle and high schools, ambulance, fire department, senior center and art center
- We enjoy socializing at dinners, spa nights, movie outings, Easter egg hunts, cookie swaps and holiday parties
